What are the rates of the limos and why are they not posted on this website?

The fastest and easiest way to get pricing for our limousine services is to fill out our No Obligation quote request on our Quote/Contact page. The reason rates are not posted on our website is because rates vary based on time of the day, day of the week, time of the year of services, vehicle choice, distance traveled, etc. Our goal will always be to provide the fairest price available.

Is there a license required for limousine companies to operate?

Yes, all limousine companies in the state of California are licensed and regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission, and are issued a TCP or PSG. With this license comes many requirements, such as commercial drivers licenses, inspections, commercial and passenger carrier insurance, drug testing. As well as compliance with many other expectations. DO NOT USE any limo company that is not licensed or not willing to provide their license number. It is not worth risking your safety to save a few dollars.

Why do prices vary between limo companies?

Prices will vary between limo companies because prices are set by supply and demand. Price should not always be your only determinating factor. If you get a rock bottom price, you might get rock bottom service; conversely the highest price does not always guarantee the highest level of service. Be aware that a remarkably cheap price might also mean they are not properly licensed (see above). Big Matty's Transport will never be the most expensive priced limo service nor the cheapest priced service. What we do offer is a Top Notch service at a very fair price. Ultimately, the choice is up to you. Find the vehicle you are looking for, a price you are willing to pay, and the company that makes you feel confident will make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

Is there a deposit required for Big Matty's Transport Limo services?

Yes, once you decide Big Matty's Transport will provide limo services for you, a deposit of 10% or $100 (whichever is greater) is required to book your reservation. The deposit is fully refundable up 7 days prior to you limo trip. After that time the deposit is non-refundable.

What forms of payment does Big Matty's Transport Limo Service Accept?

Cash, Check(7 days prior to service), Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

What is the minimum amount of time I can rent one of your limos?

Friday and Saturday night - 5 to 6 hours (depending on vehicle)
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day - 4 hours
Sunday thru Thursday night - 4 hours
Monday thru Thursday day - 3 to 4 hours (depending on vehicle)

Is the pricing all inclusive?

No, tip or gratuity is not included in the pricing. Our drivers do their very best to make sure your experience is an enjoyable one and for their efforts we leave the gratuity up to you. Standard gratuity is 20%. Tolls, parking, and admissions are also not included and will be charged to our clients if they are incurred.

What if we go over the time we have rented the limo for?

There is no problem if your trip goes over your predetermined time frame. You will be charged at the same hourly rate, but in 30 minute increments. For example, if your limousine rate is $70 an hour, and you add 25 minutes to your trip you will be charged $35 not $70.

What is stocked in the limos?

For those clients under the age of 21, we stock sodas, waters, ice, glassware, etc. For those clients over the age of 21, we typically also stock vodka and whiskey. But, if there is something specific you would like to be stocked in your limo, we can cater to your wants and needs.

Does Big Matty's Transport accept corporate or VIP accounts?

Yes, corporate and VIP accounts are set up on a net 30 basis.
